Lenny Kravitz donates guitar to brazilian president
It is not the larggest donation in history but this is still a next story. A wealth craftsman gives one of his iconic tools to relieve the poverty of others.
Sidenote: "To fight poverty" strikes me as a bad metaphor. Fighting makes poverty. Fighting destroys lives. How can one be fighting when one is sharing and cooperating. One is struggling against poverty, one can be world to end poverty. But fighting and its inherent violence is a poor word.

Rocker Lenny Kravitz has given an electric guitar worth $5,000 (£2,600) to Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Rocker Lenny Kravitz has given an electric guitar worth $5,000 (£2,600) to Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Kravitz donated the guitar to raise funds for the president's campaign to wipe out hunger in the country by 2006.
It will be auctioned on the internet and proceeds will go towards improving water supplies in north-east Brazil.
Kravitz is currently on a tour of South America, playing shows in Mexico, Chile and Argentina as well as Brazil.
The 40-year-old, best known for the hits Fly Away and Are You Gonna Go My Way, has also toured North America, and will be playing London's Hammersmith Apollo in July.
His seventh album Baptism was released in 2004.
The Brazilian president, known as Lula, has gained international recognition for his Zero Hunger programme, which aims to tackle the poverty affecting nearly a third of Brazil's 180m population.
